Visual Research 011

1 Hour Study

Personal Studies

Sometimes when there's nothing to draw I'll draw my hand. This is great because hands can be difficult to draw, they have good surface texture for volume and I've always got one on hand. These also help to keep my observational skills loose and ready to go.

Furthermore I like to capture general shapes in environments as doing dynamic environments can be difficult. Though I imagine all British houses to look generally the same, I definitely star to notice the subtleties through these observations.

Here I've got some movement drawings mixed in with some static drawings. I often like to try and redraw poses to see how I can exaggerate or fix the initial drawing.
